IT ALL STARTED ON A WARM SUMMER NIGHT...

...back in 2008. Steve had just left work to meet friends at a concert. John Mayer was performing at an amphitheater. Yes, that John Mayer. After arriving at his spot on the lawn and greeting everyone, a cute brunette caught his eye. Once he had mustered up the (probably liquid) courage to walk up to her and introduce himself (those fateful first words exchanged have since been lost to time), she asked if she could have one of his beers. Why yes, our young hero was holding not one but two beers. ("The beer line takes forever and I drink fast!" he was once overheard saying.) When Steve replied, "no, you may not have one of my beers," Melissa was smitten, and the rest is history.

We first fell in love with wedding filmmaking after we got married. Steve had always had a passion for filmmaking ever since he commandeered his dad's Canon 5d Mark II at the start of the DSLR video revolution, and Melissa had a knack for production, having worked for a high profile television production company in Los Angeles.

Over the years, our adventures have taken us all across the United States, Mexico, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Curaçao, England, France, Iceland, South Africa, and beyond. They have led us out of the midwest to the west coast, the deep south, and back home again.
